Distortion and Poetry, Pornography or Pentagrams
by Jimmy Crowley
Do you want to hear a story
about a boy I knew named Jimmy?
He had a heart of gold,
but a mind of dirt.
Love in his mind.
Hate in his heart.
Maybe the distortion and poetry didn't help.
Neither did the Pornography or Pentagrams.
I tell ya,
that kid had problems.
Had his heart broke
one too many times.
He made sure his parents didn't notice,
when he started cutting.
He cryed her a river of blood,
and bled her an ocean of tears.
Maybe someone should have noticed,
when his hero became Kurt Cobain.
He was home alone one night.
Him and his guitar.
He wrote a poem,
tied his guitar cable around his neck,
and threw it over a tree in the backyard.
Distortion and Poetry, Pornography or Pentagrams.
